The Company

In 2003, Biologic GmbH (Münster-Handorf, Germany) set up a profit centre to specialize in the development and marketing of highly specialized equestrian equipment.

The new line of products was the brain child of owner Günter Grodde, who has been a passionate horseman since the age of ten. Although he no longer participates as a rider in horse shows, he can be seen judging equestrian events most weekends. Dressage is his speciality, and he judges at every competition level right up to Grand Prix class.

Demand for "Mounty" equestrian sports products took off quickly, and at the beginning of 2009 it was decided the erstwhile "horse-riding" department should be turned into an independent company. The new entity, wich is still based at the same address, is called Mounty Sport Products GmbH & Co. KG. As the company's name suggests, its products are no longer aimed exclusively at the horseriding world.

The Mounty team is made up of engineers, scientists and of course marketing specialists.
